Ngorongoro Crater 1‑Day Safari

Early pickup from your hotel in Arusha or Karatu, followed by a scenic drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, descend into the crater floor with your guide as wildlife activity begins. Expect to see buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, lions, and possibly rhinos.

Stop at a picnic site near a hippo pool inside the crater. Enjoy your lunch while observing hippos and birds in their natural habitat. This is a relaxing break surrounded by incredible scenery.

After lunch, continue game drives across the crater floor, exploring lakes, grasslands, and forested areas. The afternoon is ideal for spotting predators resting and large herds grazing.

In the late afternoon, ascend from the crater and begin the drive back to your hotel, arriving in the early evening.
